Scheme of the passage Tombs

Carrownamaddoo 2 (also called Calliagh a Vera's House , Calliagh-a-Veragh, or Cailleach Bhéarra's House ) is a between 4000 and 2500 BC. Passage Tomb, built in the Neolithic Age . It is located on a secondary peak of Slieve Dargan in the townland of Carrownamaddoo ( Irish Ceathrú na Madadh ) in County Sligo in Ireland and was built in the later Neolithic phase of the construction of Passage Tombs in County Sligo.

The megalithic complex is located east of Grange in a cairn about 15 m in diameter and is in good condition. The lower half is cut into the bedrock. All capstones are present. Some have slipped, allowing entry into the chamber from above. The corridor is separated from the three-meter-long chamber, which is filled with stone material, by a single post on the south side. Three large stones form a central room that measures 1.0 m × 1.5 m. The remains of huge corbels that were once part of the tholos of the roof can be found on the supporting stones . The outer end of the corridor seems to have been deliberately blocked with stones. The stone mound probably didn't cover the roof completely.

About 850 m to the southwest lies an arrangement of three menhirs , the northernmost of which (1.4 m long) has fallen and half buried. The main stone is 1.6 m high and rectangular. The southernmost is a small, triangular stone 0.5 m high.
