Carsten Kunkel

Carsten Kunkel (* 1974 in Berlin ) is a German legal scholar and professor at the Technical University of Wildau .

Life

Kunkel studied business administration and law in Berlin and Rome. He completed his law studies in 2003 with the first state examination in law. He received his doctorate in 2007 from the Free University of Berlin on an interdisciplinary topic on unfair competition . From 2006 he worked as a lawyer in several commercial law firms. In 2011 he took over a professorship in Wildau. This was followed by the establishment of the Private Institute for Applied Business Law (PrInAW), in which he took on the role of director. His research interests include in particular corporate law , drafting contracts as well as commercial criminal law , data protection law and compliance .

As part of international cooperation, Kunkel supervises various English-language dissertations on legal and business issues.

Among other things, Kunkel is a liaison professor of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and a member of the corporate law association - scientific association for corporate and corporate law (VGR) eV, as well as chairman of the faculty council in the field of economics, computer science, law of the TH Wildau (since 2013) .

Kunkel is a regular author of various juris practice reports.

Kunkel is married and has a daughter.
