Casa Museo Azorín

The Casa Museo Azorín is a writer's museum in the city of Monóvar in the province of Alicante , Spain .

The historic building was the residence of the Martínez-Ruiz family in the center of Monóvar. The famous writer José Martínez Ruiz was born in this house in 1873.

The three-story manor-style building was converted into a public museum in May 1969, two years after Azorin's death, and contains an exhibition of objects, furnishings, paintings, a photo collection and the 14,000-volume private library with correspondence and original manuscripts by the writer José Martínez Ruiz, better known by his author's name Azorín . The former living quarters have also been completely preserved.

In 2012, the TV channel Canal 9 (Valencia) broadcast a report from the Azorín Museum House.
