The cash.life AG is a German publicly traded finance company based in Berlin . The company was founded in 1999.
In 1999, cash.life was the first company in Germany to enable consumers to sell their life and pension insurances instead of canceling them. In addition to policy sales, customers also have the option of borrowing from their life insurance policy.
The company offers policyholders a purchase price that is higher than the surrender value of the insurance in the event of termination. Cash.life AG then sells the bundled policies on to investors. Interested buyers are, for example, funds. The administration of the policies usually continues through cash.life AG until the expiry. The customer benefits from the fact that the previously inflexibly invested money is immediately available to him.
