The Casmuniz 52 was a business jet from the Brazilian manufacturer Casio Muniz sa

history

After the Brazilian government imposed restrictions on the import of foreign aircraft, Willibald Weber , an immigrant Austrian aeronautical engineer, worked with Antonio Guedes Muniz to design the first all-metal aircraft built in Brazil, the Casmuniz 52 . The only prototype built flew for the first time in April 1952 and was successfully tested until 1955. Due to the significantly cheaper Cessna models that have since appeared, series production was not started.

construction

The machine was a two-engine low-wing aircraft with a retractable tail wheel landing gear. The Casmuniz 52 was made entirely of metal and had a conventional tail unit. The aircraft was powered by two Continental E185-11 boxer engines with 153 kW each and offered space for a pilot and four passengers.
