Casla
Casla [ ˈkɑːsɫə ] ( Anglicized : Costelloe ) is a scattered village settlement between the towns of Indreabhán and An Caiseal ( Cashel ) in County Galway , Ireland . It lies exclusively in the area of the Doire Townlands on Fhéich . It is the most westerly place in the Gaeltacht region of Cois Fharraige . As in the neighboring An Cheathrú Rua, the colloquial language is the Connacht dialect of Irish . Therefore only the Irish name Casla has official status.
The headquarters of the Irish-speaking radio broadcaster RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta is located in Casla .
The Irish name Casla means "tidal estuary".
