Castello della Pietra
The Castello della Pietra (in German: Castle of the stone ) is in the 13th century created a rock castle near the Ligurian community Vobbia . It is located in the Val Vobbia, a side valley of the Scrivia in the metropolitan city of Genoa .
The castle is elevated between two rock cones, which form a natural fortification. It dominates the connecting road to Isola del Cantone , which runs along the Vobbia river . The Castello della Pietra can only be reached on foot via a forest path and then via a steep staircase.
