The Scrivia at Busalla

The Scrivia is a right tributary of the northern Italian river Po . The 88 kilometers long river flows through the regions of Liguria , Piedmont and Lombardy from south to north.

The river has its source in the metropolitan city of Genoa and arises from the Torrenti Laccio ( coming from Torriglia ) and Pentema (also called Pentemina ), which meet at Montoggio and both come from the Monte Prelà mountain . Then he passes the municipality of Casella (410 m), where the Bravenna flows from the right. In Savignone the Camiasca flows in from the left, then it reaches Busalla , where the Seminella flows in from the right. After Ronco Scrivia , the river reaches Isola del Cantone , where the Vobbia enters from the right . The river then enters Piedmont ( province of Alessandria ), where it first reaches the municipality of Arquata Scrivia and includes the Torrenti Spinti and Borbera coming from the right. It then reaches the municipalities of Serravalle Scrivia (225 m), Cassano Spinola , Tortona and Castelnuovo Scrivia . The Grue also flows in here from the right . After Alzano Scrivia and Molino dei Torti , he left the province of Alessandria and entered the province of Pavia (Lombardy region). Here it runs through the municipality of Cornale (74 m) and then serves as the right tributary of the Po.
