The Borbera ( Borbëa or Borbeja in Ligurian or Borbaja in Piedmontese ) is a river in the province of Alessandria in the north-western Italian region of Piedmont .

geography

The river, officially known as Torrente , has its source in the Ligurian Apennines at an altitude of around 1700 m on Monte Chiappo , runs for about 38 km in the valley of the same name and flows into the Scrivia at Vignole Borbera .
