The province of Pavia is a province in the Italian region of Lombardy . Its largest municipalities include the capital Pavia Mortara , Stradella , Vigevano and Voghera . In the south of the province is the Oltrepò Pavese wine region , one of the largest wine regions in Italy, especially for Pinot Nero ( Pinot Noir , Blauburgunder ).
