San Martino Siccomario is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6448 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 3 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia between Ticino and Po in the Val del Ticino . San Martino Siccomario is part of the Parco naturale lombardo della Valle del Ticino .

history

A San Martino appeared in Terra Arsa as early as the beginning of the 10th century . This name is changing. In 1099, a document finally identified this place as San Martino del Siccomario , formed from a sigemarium .
