Godiasco Salice Terme (until 2012 only Godiasco ) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3243 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 26 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia on the Staffora and Ardivestra and borders directly on the province of Alessandria . Godiasco is part of the Comunità Montana Oltrepò Pavese .

history

Godiasco goes back to the Malaspina family. Even if the community was settled before the 7th century, the community is mentioned for the first time in the fief deed opposite Obizzo Malaspina.

The station on the Voghera – Varzi railway was closed in 1966 when the line was closed. The former Strada Statale 461 del Passo del Penice runs through the municipality from Voghera to Bobbio .
