Cornale e Bastida is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 848 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality was created on February 4, 2014 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities Cornale and Bastida de 'Dossi .

The municipality is located about 25 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Pavia and about 50 km southwest of the regional capital Milan . It borders directly on the province of Alessandria and is in the climatic classification of Italian municipalities in zone E, 2 619. The town hall is in Cornale. The river Po flows through the municipality .
