Bastida de 'Dossi ( Lombard : Bastìa ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Cornale e Bastida in the province of Pavia , Lombardy region .

Bastida de 'Dossi is located about 24 kilometers southwest of Pavia a little south of the Po in the Oltrepò Pavese and belongs to the Comunità Montana Oltrepò Pavese . The place is at an altitude of 77 mlsm
history
The place was first documented in 1431 as Loco Dossorum sive Gazzi . Bastida de 'Dossi was an independent municipality until January 2014 and merged with the neighboring municipality of Cornale on February 4, 2014 to form the new municipality of Cornale e Bastida.
Neighboring communities were Casei Gerola , Corana , Cornale, Mezzana Bigli , Sannazzaro de 'Burgondi and Silvano Pietra .
Attractions
The Church of San Giovanni Battista (also San Giovanni Battista e Santi Mauro, Benedetto e Scolastica) was built in the 16th century and belongs to the diocese of Tortona .
