Cecima is a municipality ( comune ) in the province of Pavia with 224 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in southwestern Lombardy in northern Italy . The municipality is located about 38 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia on the Staffora in the Oltrepò Pavese , belongs to the Comunità montana Oltrepò Pavese and borders directly on the province of Alessandria ( Piedmont ).

history

In 943 the village was donated to the Bishop of Pavia by Kings Hugo I and Lothar II . In 2009 the planetarium and observatory Cà del Monte was opened in the municipality .

traffic

The former Strada Statale 461 del Passo Penice (now a provincial road) leads through the municipality from Voghera to Bobbio .
