Zinasco is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3123 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 8 kilometers southwest of Pavia in the Lomellina . The Terdoppio flows through the municipality, which flows into the Po in the neighboring municipality of Sommo , as well as partly the Staffora , which flows into the Po opposite the Cascina Mandelli fraction .
history
Zinasco was first mentioned as Cinascium at the end of the 12th century . In 1866 the district of Cascinino from the neighboring municipality of Dorno was connected to Zinasco.
