Sommo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1164 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about nine kilometers southwest of Pavia in the Lomellina . The Terdoppio Lomellina flows into the Po here .

In 849 the place is mentioned for the first time in a deed of donation from the Bishop of Pavia .
