Linarolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2830 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about kilometers from Pavia and is part of the Parco naturale lombardo della Valle del Ticino . Here the Ticino flows into the Po .

history

The place is known from documents since the 12th century. In 1872 the district of Vaccarizza was incorporated, which was independent until then.
