Valle Salimbene is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1481 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about six kilometers east-southeast of Pavia at the confluence of the Ticino and the Po at the Parco naturale lombardo della Valle del Ticino .
