This discography is an overview of the musical works of the singer Freddie Mercury . In addition to his work with the rock band Queen , Freddie Mercury released a solo album and a collaboration with the opera singer Montserrat Caballé during his lifetime . In addition, some singles appeared . After his death, his solo material was processed and marketed in several compilations and re-releases. According to sources and record awards, he has sold more than 2.5 million records so far, of which over 1.3 million in his home country alone. Mercury's most successful release is The Freddie Mercury Album with over 1.1 million units sold.
