The municipality is located about 37.5 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia in the Oltrepò Pavese on the Staffora , into which the Nice flows here. Ponte Nizza belongs to the Comunità Montana Oltrepò Pavese and borders directly on the province of Alessandria .
