Ananda Krishnan

Ananda Krishnan (born April 1, 1938 in Kuala Lumpur ) is a Malaysian entrepreneur .

Life

Krishnan comes from a Sri Lankan - Tamil family. He attended de Vivekananda Tamil School in Brickfields , Kuala Lumpur and then the Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur. He studied political science at the University of Melbourne , Australia. Krishnan is the chairman of Usaha Tegas Group Holdings, a Malaysian company . He owns the Malaysian company MAI Holdings . His company network extends to the energy sector, the lottery industry, the telecommunications market (CEO of Maxis Communications , MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems ) and SES World Skies , to the media sector . According to US Forbes Magazine , Krishnan is one of the richest Malaysians. Krishnan is married and has three children.
