Bressana Bottarone is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3501 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 12 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia south of the Po .
history
The community was formed in 1928 from the former communities of Bressana and Bottarone . The formerly independent communities and today's districts of Argine to Bressana and Mezzana Corti to Bottarone were incorporated earlier.

The Strada Statale 35 dei Giovi leads through the municipality from Pavia towards Casteggio . The Bressana Bottarone station is on the Milan – Genoa railway line , and from there the line to Stradella begins .
