Borgo San Siro is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 945 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 19 kilometers west-northwest of Pavia west of the Ticino in the Lomellina in the Parco naturale lombardo della Valle del Ticino .

history

At the end of the 10th century, the area around the site became the property of the Salvator Monastery in Pavia. In 1250 the place is mentioned as Burgum S. Syri .
