Torrevecchia Pia is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3538 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 15.5 kilometers northeast of Pavia and about 21.5 kilometers south-southeast of Milan east of the Lambro . Torrevecchia Pia borders the province of Lodi .

history

The community is first mentioned under her name at the end of the 11th century. The community is initially under the rule of Milan. In 1786 they became part of the province of Pavia. In 1872 the formerly independent communities of Vigonzone and Zibido al Lambro are incorporated.
