Lungavilla is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2459 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 18 kilometers south-southwest of Pavia in the Oltrepò Pavese .

history

Until 1894 the municipality was called Calcababbio . It was first mentioned in a document in the 13th century.

traffic

The A21 autostrada runs through the municipality from Turin to Brescia . However, there is no connection. The Pizzale- Lungavilla train station is on the Milan-Genoa railway line .
