Oliva Gessi is a municipality with 169 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in southwestern Lombardy in northern Italy . The municipality is located about 20.5 kilometers south of Pavia in the Oltrepò Pavese and belongs to the Comunità Montana Oltrepò Pavese .

In 972, the later emperor Otto II donated the property of today's municipality to Theophanu .
