Romagnese is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 629 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in southwestern Lombardy . The municipality is located about 41 kilometers south-southeast of Pavia in the Val Tidone on the Tidone in the Oltrepò Pavese , belongs to the Comunità montana Oltrepò Pavese and borders directly on the province of Piacenza ( Emilia-Romagna ) via the Passo del Penice .
