Inverno e Monteleone is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1471 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pavia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 18.5 kilometers east of Pavia in the Pavese and borders directly on the province of Lodi . The administrative headquarters are located in the Inverno district .

history

Both localities, Inverno and Monteleone, are first mentioned in the 10th century. In 1872 both communities are united under the name Invernos. The community has had its current name since 1961.

The former Strada Statale 412 della Valle Tidone (now a provincial road) leads through the municipality from Milan / Noverasco to Romagnese ( Passo del Penice ).
