The province of Lecco is an Italian province in the north of the Lombardy region . It has 337,087 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in 84 municipalities on an area of 816.17 km². Its largest municipalities include Calolziocorte, Casatenovo, Merate and Valmadrera.
The province was separated from the province of Como on March 6, 1992 .
