description
The heart of the castle, a free-standing, square, three-story tower is located in the middle of a double wall. This clay and lime tower dates back to the 12th century. The double walling was built towards the end of the 15th century. The northern area is protected by a steep slope.
On the second floor of the tower there is an Almohad-style arched vault, one of the oldest of its kind in Spain.
