Castor 4B

Castor 4B is the name of an American sounding rocket . The Castor 4B has a length of 9.20 m, a diameter of 1.02 m and delivers a thrust of 450 kN with a duration of 63 seconds. The rocket is based on the Castor IVB rocket engine of the same name . It is used in the Maxus program as well as in various US missile defense projects .
