The Castro de Coaña is an Iron Age , Celtic settlement from the 1st century AD, the so-called Castro culture in western Asturias ( Spain ) near the city of Navia near Coaña .

Almost 100 mostly circular foundations of the stone houses of the settlement on a hilltop, which was the target of archaeological excavations as early as 1877, are very well preserved. There are also several well-preserved grain mortars and a system for the water cult , similar to the Pedra Formosa as they are preserved in the Portuguese Sanfins .
