Catacomb Ridge is a 1280 m high mountain ridge with north-south orientation in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the western section of the Denton Hills , it extends south of Catacomb Hill .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 based on the name of Catacomb Hill. This bears its name because of the weathering cavities in the granite rock of its summit, reminiscent of catacombs .
