Cathrin Störmer

Cathrin Störmer (born April 3, 1969 in Göttingen ) is a German theater and film actress . She lives in Zurich and works at various theaters in Germany and Switzerland.

education

From 1990 to 1993 Cathrin Störmer completed her acting training in Berlin . This was followed, among other things, by singing and improvisation workshops with Ida Kelarova and Keith Johnstone .

Work

Cathrin Störmer became known to a larger audience through a number of appearances in plays on the independent Zurich scene. Above all, she was the secret protagonist of the Absolut Züri theater soap , which accompanied the fate of former techno disciples in the city in eight plays at various theaters in Zurich. In 2009 the feature film “Zwerge sprrengen” by Christoph Schertenleib premiered, in which Cathrin Störmer plays one of the leading roles.

Awards

  • 2002: Art Prize of the City of Zurich for the production “A. is another "
  • 2008: Scholarship from the City of Zurich for a three-month stay abroad. She uses this for a working meeting with the Campo theater group from Ghent.
