Cecil Craske
Cecil Ernest Craske (born March 6, 1915 in Launceston , † unknown) was an Australian badminton player .
Career
At a time when international comparisons in his homeland were mainly limited to competitions with neighboring New Zealand, Cecil Craske won three Australian men's singles titles and two mixed titles from 1935 to 1939.
He enlisted in the military in 1941 and fought against the Japanese on Malaya . In 1942 he was taken prisoner. One month after his release from Japanese captivity, he married his former mixed partner Beryl Cuthbertson in 1946 .
