Celebrity Theater
The Celebrity Theater is a theater in Phoenix ( Arizona ). It holds 2650 spectators.
The rotunda was designed as a convention center by the architect Perry Neuschatz and opened on January 13, 1964 with a performance of the musical South Pacific . At the 10th annual meeting of the Prestressed Concrete Institute in Washington in September 1964, Neuschatz was presented with the prize for the most outstanding building of the year. On January 24, 2019, the theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places .
