The $ 300 million investment has paid off. IBM began to remove several components so that the production area had to be expanded several times to meet the demand. In 2000 the company was Bull Electronics Inc . in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA. In 2003 a new plant was opened in Suzhou to increase the presence in Asia. 2005 saw further acquisitions of Ramnish Electronics in India, Displaytronix and CoreSim.
