Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial

Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial , CDTI for short , coordinates research funding for technology companies in Spain. Founded in 1977, it acts on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology. CDTI supports Spanish companies in participating in European programs, for example the research framework program of the European Commission, the programs of ESA , ESRF or CERN .

Comparable institutions in other countries are the Research Promotion Agency in Austria or the State Secretariat for Education and Research in Switzerland, which is directly assigned to the Ministry.
