Centurion Risk Assessment Services Ltd. is a private security and military company in the UK founded in 1995 . It offers preparatory courses for unusual situations in a hostile environment ("hostile environment training") as well as personal protection in highly dangerous regions.

In the training of the security company, employees of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as development workers , engineers and journalists are prepared for stays in crisis and war zones. Customers are (according to Centurion) u. a. Amnesty International, ARD / WDR, Christian Aid, Human Rights Watch, Reuters and many others.

The company's trainers and personal protection team members are made up entirely of former British regulars, most of whom were Royal Marines . The training is practical, participants benefit from the operational experience that the instructors were able to gain during their active military service and on previous missions for Centurion.

In Germany, personal protection teams are partly trained by former Bundeswehr soldiers. One focus of operations is currently in Iraq.
