The Cercle des Patineurs Liègois is a Belgian ice hockey club from Liège . The club, founded in 1939, is the third most successful team in the country with ten Belgian championship titles behind the Brussels Royal IHSC (23) and Olympia Heist op den Berg (11).
history
The Cercle des Patineurs Liègois was founded in 1939 and was first Belgian master in 1949 . Especially in the 1960s and 1970s, the club impressed in the Eredivisie and won a total of ten championship titles by 1974. The club has been quiet since the last title win. In the meantime, he no longer takes part in the games of the top Belgian league. The currently most successful ice hockey club in Liège are the Bulldogs de Liège, founded in 1997 .
