Dr. Alejandro Gallinal or Alejandro Gallinal , also under the name Cerro Colorado , is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Alejandro Gallinal is located in the Florida Department in Sector 9 of the Cuchilla Grande Inferior . The closest settlement is Reboledo in the southwest . The Río Santa Lucía Chico rises to the west of the village . The sources of the Arroyo Timote , the Arroyo del Tigre (tributary of the Arroyo Mansavillagra) and the Arroyo de la Cruz can be found on the topographical elevation Cerro Colorado on the northeastern edge of Alejandro Gallinal . The area that extends north of the village is called Cuchilla de Mansavillagra .
history
By the Ley 11,893 , the village previously called Cerro Colorado was renamed on December 18, 1952 in Alejandro Gallinal. On January 28, 1985 the Ley 15,708 awarded the status of " pueblo ".
Infrastructure
Route 7 runs through the village . In addition, the Montevideo - Nico Pérez railway runs through Alejandro Gallinal.
