Castle in Franconville

The Château Cadet-de-Vaux in Franconville , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in 1758. The castle is on Rue d'Ermont.

The two-storey building with seven window axes was built for the Becquet family. In 1788 it was bought by Cadet de Vaux, after whom it was named. An extensive park was created around the castle, which is now open to the public because the municipality bought the property.
