Cha 110913−773444 , sometimes shortened to Cha 1109−7734 or Cha 110913 , is an object of planetary mass discovered in 2005 . The celestial body is too light for a brown dwarf and with a mass of around eight Jupiter's masses and a radius of around 1.8 Jupiter radii, it can be viewed as a planet without a star, or as a sub-brown dwarf .
Around Cha 110913−773444 there is a disk of dust in which planets and natural satellites could form. The object is a few million years old.
Cha 110913−773444 was discovered with the Spitzer Space Telescope , which examines the cosmos in the range of infrared light.
