The Chafariz do Carmo

The Chafariz do Carmo is a drinking fountain in the center of the Portuguese capital Lisbon . It was built in 1771 in the middle of Largo do Carmo .

It is fed with water from the Aqueduto das Águas Livres , with which it is connected through the Galeria do Loreto .
