Chala is a language in Ghana with around 3,000 speakers in the villages of Nkwanta, Odomi and Ago in the Volta region . It is the mother tongue of the Chala .
In Jadigbe, a village near Seipe, south of Ekumdipe in the Northern Region , only 35% of the population speak Chala. Alternative names are Tshala and Cala.
