Chalgrave Castle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chalgrave Castle is an Outbound castle south of the village Toddington in the English administrative unit Central Bedfordshire .

It was a wooden moth that was erected in two phases in the 11th century. It was abandoned as early as the 13th century.

In 1970 excavations were carried out on the site of the former castle. However, the area was then completely leveled so that there are no remains that have survived to this day.
