Sheikh Chalid ibn Saqr al-Qasimi (also: Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi ; Arabic خالد بن صقر القاسمي, DMG Ḫālid b. Ṣaqr al-Qāsimī ) (* 1943) is the former crown prince of Ra's al-Khaimah , one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates . He was never the ruler.

The eldest son of Sheikh Saqr ibn Muhammad al-Qasimi , who ruled the country from 1948 until his death in 2010, was appointed crown prince and deputy ruler in 1958. In 1999 he took over the management of state affairs when Sheikh Saqr withdrew from day-to-day business for health reasons. In 2003, the fourth eldest son of Sheikh Saqr, Sheikh Sa'ud ibn Saqr al-Qasimi , was appointed crown prince in his place and has since led the state affairs of the emirate.

As part of the deteriorating health of the then formal ruler Sheikh Saqr, Sheikh Chalid finally tried in vain in 2010 to gain the position of the possible successor Sheikh Saqr as ruler of Ra's al-Khaimas.

Chalid ibn Saqr al-Qasimi now lives in Sharjah , a neighboring emirate of Ra's al-Khaimah.
