Sheikh Saqr ibn Muhammad al-Qasimi ( Arabic صقر بن محمد القاسمي, DMG Ṣaqr b. Muḥammad al-Qāsimī ; also: Sakr Bin Mohammed Al Kassimi * April 9, 1918 in Ra's al-Khaimah ; † October 27, 2010 ibid) was the ruler of the Emirate of Ra's al-Khaimah.

He ruled since 1948, making him the longest-ruling emir in the United Arab Emirates . In 1958 he appointed his eldest son Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi the Crown Prince . He took over the management of state affairs in 1999 when Sheikh Saqr withdrew from day-to-day business for health reasons.

In 2003, the fourth eldest son of Sheikh Saqr, Sheikh Sa'ud ibn Saqr al-Qasimi (* 1956), was appointed Crown Prince in place of Sheikh Chalid and has been in charge of the state since then. The previous Crown Prince, Sheikh Chalid, allegedly fell out of favor because of his attitude towards women's rights, which was perceived as too liberal . However, he remained in the position of the ruler's deputy.

In the course of 2010, Sheikh Saqr's health deteriorated noticeably. From the end of April 2010 he received intensive medical treatment. During this time his sons Khalid and Sa'ud struggled to succeed him as ruler of the emirate.

After Sheikh Saqr's death on October 27, 2010 in the Zayed Hospital in Abu Dhabi, his son Sa'ud ibn Saqr al-Qasimi was appointed ruler of Ra's al-Khaimas.
