The Chandelier Tree is a 96-foot-tall coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) in Leggett , Mendocino County , California . "Chandelier" means chandelier . The tunnel, carved into the tree trunk in 1930, with a width of almost 2 meters and a height of almost 3 meters, allows passage with a car and is a tourist attraction.
